RFP's for Hazard Mitigation Assistance Services
Medina County is soliciting service providers for one or more Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) grants from the Texas Division of Emergency Management, Texas Water Development Board and/or other sources, including Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities, and/or Flood Mitigation Assistance. Accordingly, Medina County seeks to contract with a qualified service provider for management services. The RFP Packet can be found by clicking the following link RFP PACKET. Please submit 4 copies and a USB of your proposal in person or by mail in a sealed envelope or box with “RFP HMA” clearly marked on the outside. All RFP’s may be mailed, or hand delivered to Medina County Auditor, Eduardo Lopez, 1300 Avenue M, Room 139, Hondo Texas 78861 by Friday, October 13, 2023 at 10:00 am (CST). The Auditor’s Office hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The office is closed for lunch from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm Monday-Thursday. Medina County will not accept responses submitted electronically.
Medina County reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit proposals, as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards. Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals.
